When I received the invitation to contribute to the tribute album honouring the late Jared C. Balogh, I had not even heard that name. So I googled him, and soon ended listening with growing fascination to many of his releases, many of which were released under a Creative Commons License.
So I started offf by mixing and mangling and remixing material I found on his releases, and then added bass, guitar, synth, epiano and drums in some parts, and - in the case of the Hauchzart Ensemble tracks - synth sounds and drum - tracks my friend Matt Getchell - my partner in The Hauchzart Ensemble - had sent me.
So there are 3 Wilfried Hanrath and 3 The Hauchzart Ensemble tribute-tracks on this album....and I might feel tempted to coninue.
Maybe, if time allows...
You will find much of his music on the Internet Archive...and maybe this album will make you curious to find out more about Jared C. Balogh
