This album is the first in a series in which I will present to you my that part of my musical issues which is not composed by myself, but in which I take the musical output of others and re-interpret them.
Or, in the case of the weekly disquiet junto tracks and the particular project of that time, the track was started with someone playing the first part, another one continues in the next and so forth. Solitary Ensembles this project was named, also a reference to the lockdown in the Corona-pandemic.
When it comes to reworking another´s music, I listen over and over to analyze the track; next I rearrange it but taking apart and putting it together anew, sometimes by adding looped sections or repeating sections or putting them together in a different order.
My aim is to maintain the quality of the original, and add a personal note to it.
Since the music you find here has its origins in open-collabs or in invitations , I am very grateful for the confidence those others have in me.
Sometines people aren´t happy with my rendition of their music, and sometimes they are. And sometimes this is the beginning of a friendship.
So, my warm and heartfelt thanks go out to all the people I have encountered ever since I started to make music outside of my living-room, you have all shown me something I could learn.
